Solar PV for Your Home

Due to existing Government funding opportunities there has never been a better time for homeowners to start generating their own electricty with a solar PV system.

Our domestic PV systems are based on using high quality Sharp panels with guaranteed performance outputs which can be tailored to suit most homes. Our typical systems are designed for simple installation onto your existing roof structure and are connected to the distribution unit (fuse box) within the property, causing minimal disruption to the infrastructure of your home.  When the system is producing electricity it will directly offset the energy being used in the house. In periods when electricity is being produced but not being used, or there is less electricity being used than is being produced, any surplus energy is exported to the national grid for use by others.

Our installation teams are fully qualified and accredited and will typically complete your installation in not more than two days with minimal inconvenience and fuss to you and your home.

Dual Funding Opportunity - LCBP Grant and Feed-In Tariff

Our PV systems are fully accredited under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and are therefore eligible for a grant of up to £2,500 or 50% (whichever is the lower) of the total equipment and installation costsunder the terms of the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP) Phase 1 scheme. Please note that this grant is only available until 31st March this year.

The Government has announced that with effect from 1st April a new incentive - a “Feed In Tariff” - will be introduced whereby an annual payment will be made to PV system owners for electricity generated and exported.  Importantly, the government has stated that homeowners can benefit from the LCBP Phase 1 grant (until April next year) and still be eligible for the Feed In Tariff from 1st April 2010.
