At Filsol we strongly advise that you only use products and installers that have full industry accreditation. Importantly, this accreditation is a pre-condition to all of the principal grants and funding initiatives – including Feed in Tariffs - that are currently available for solar water heating and PV systems.
The principal accreditation scheme for microgeneration products and installers in the UK is the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). This is an independent scheme, supported by the government's Department of Energy and Climate Change, that certifies microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. It is designed to evaluate microgeneration products and installers against robust criteria providing greater protection for consumers.
Filsol are fully accredited under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme for the installation of both solar water heating and solar photovoltaics (PV).
Filsol's MCS accreditation number for both solar water heating and solar PV is MCS1354.
For further information on the Microgeneration Certification Scheme visit www.microgenerationcertification.org.
Filsol are also signatories to the consumer codes of the Renewable Energy Association (REA) and Solar Trade Association (STA) which set out clear standards on quality management and service to customers, suppliers and commercial partners.
